Check availability

Planning your ceremony? Start by checking the calendar.

Use the calendar to get a quick idea of my current availability. Dates or times marked Unavailable are already booked or otherwise blocked. If your date does not show an unavailable block, I may still be available for your ceremony.

  • How to use the calendar
Navigate to your wedding date and look for an Unavailable event. If one appears, that date or time has already been blocked.
  • An open calendar date is not a reservation.
Availability can change, travel time between ceremonies can matter, and some dates may have inquiries in progress that are not yet shown on the calendar.
  • Ready to book?
If your date looks open, please send an inquiry below. I will personally confirm your date, ceremony time, location, and package before your wedding is considered booked.
  • Popular dates fill early.
Brown County Saturdays—especially during the fall wedding season—can book well in advance.

Availability calendar temporarily unavailable

Please use the inquiry form below and I will confirm your date directly.

Please note: The calendar is provided as a planning tool only. A date that appears open is not guaranteed or reserved until Brown County Ceremonies has personally confirmed your booking.

Questions

Before you say “I do.”

Can we write our own vows?

Absolutely. You can write private vows, speak them during the ceremony, use traditional vows, or combine approaches. The ceremony can be built around what feels right to you.

Do you perform religious and non-religious ceremonies?

Ceremonies can be secular, spiritual, traditional, or include faith elements requested by the couple. The goal is to reflect your values rather than force you into a preset format.

Do you welcome LGBTQ+ couples and couples of all backgrounds?

Yes. Brown County Ceremonies proudly welcomes every couple. Sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, non-religious background, race, ethnicity, and cultural tradition are all respected. Your ceremony will be centered on the two of you and the values you want represented.

Can you officiate an elopement in Brown County?

Yes. Intimate weddings and elopements are a natural fit for Brown County, including approved parks, cabins, venues and other private locations.

What about the Indiana marriage license?

You are responsible for obtaining a valid Indiana marriage license. I complete the officiant portion associated with your ceremony. Indiana residents generally obtain the license in a county where one applicant resides; out-of-state couples marrying in Brown County apply in Brown County.

How far ahead should we book?

As soon as you have your venue and date. Popular Saturdays—especially during Brown County's fall season—can book well in advance.
